| Microsoft Flight Simulator Aircraft and Scenery Designer: Spanish edition |
The Spanish edition of this popular add-on featured F-15 Eagles on the cover! It's quite unusual for the MS sims to feature military jets.... probably the Spanish division just having some fun I'd say. When you look at the enlarged picture you can see the F-15's are superimposed over an image of a real military airbase with what look like rows of F-16's lined up on the tarmac. |

| Eurofighter Typhoon: Operation Icebreaker |
Eurofighter Typhoon - Operation Icebreaker adds new weather effects, HUD and radar improvements and carrier ops to a campaign which is a sequel to the original Eurofighter Typhoon. It's tough! It is difficult! After a faltering start I decided to retrace my steps and have another go at the original campaign. I was aided by the excellent strategy guide included with the sim, and hindered by the weather - snow and lots of rain... lots of rain. |

|
| Disappointing Campaign in Icebreaker |
The Eurofighter Typhoon - Operation Icebreaker CAMPAIGN has the feel of a hastily thrown together set of scripted missions. As scripted missions go they aren't too bad. The disappointment is that the original release - Eurofighter Typhoon - boasted a dynamic campaign with some scripted events base on an unfolding plotline delivered by video clips and news flashes. You had some latitude in mission planning and felt you were part of an interactive environment in which your actions had consequences. My recommendation - get this release and play the original campaign which is included. |
