The Iron Man collection shows excellent packaging with an embossed cover and a good choice of contrasting Iron Man images - 2006 Iron Man on the cover and the original Iron Man as seen in "Tales of Wonder" 1963 on the DVD case.

The standard GITCORP collections contain over 500 issues each. That works out at less than $ 0.10 per issue. This is the only way that these collections are affordable to the average consumer. 10c is about the right price point. (That is about 7c in US Dollars).

Comparative costs of home entertainment I ran a quick comparison, showing what PC flight sims cost per hour in relation to other popular forms of entertainment. It is interesting to note the both the most expensive and the cheapest items are comic books. The content is the same, the media has changed from print to digital. Flight Sims turn out to be nearly the cheapest per hour!

As of late 2007 Marvel chose to cancel the arrangement with GITCORP to produce these collections. The Complete Thor and the Complete Daredevil were almost ready to ship.
