Wilcannia, Remote inland Port

Description

Wilcannia is located in remote far NW N.S.W., about 425 nm from Sydney as the crow flies. It was a busy inland port in the country during the river boat era of the mid-19th century. Today it has a population numbering in the hundreds. You will find the town about 1 nm S of the airport, on the Darling River.
