Take a flight around the capital of Taiwan, Taipei on the NW coast. Chiang Kai-shek was the President of the Republic of China from 1928 until 1949, then until 1975 in exile on Taiwan. Sun Yat-Sen was the first president of the ROC and the first leader of the Kuomintang (Nationalist Party of China). Takeoff and fly east along the coast to the mouth of the Tamsui River.
