Comments: "The rumble of the engine at 80% power could be felt through my body. I pushed up to full military power. The sensation was VERY nice. I kicked in the burner and WOW, my body was saturated with the feeling of power." - Len Hjalmarson, Combatsim.
The Aura Interactor comes in two flavours:
- a strap-on backpack
- and a snug cushion.
I actually use both - depending on my mood.
If I want to don my flight suit and helmet then the backpack is the way to go. If I'm up for a more leisurely cruise - or am feeling lazy! - then I opt for the cushion. These units are so inexpensive now that both will set you back for less than the price of a new game!
Combine this baby with a force feedback joystick and you're really flying! I found that the rumbling vibration this device generated in MiG Alley gave me a great sense of stall buffet.
