Banshee
Multi monitor

The Banshee initially didn't support multi monitor in Win 98, then Creative released a small patch. Now I could run my Banshee on the main monitor and an S3 card on the second monitor.

Later on I upgraded to a Geforce 2 MXas the main card - in the AGP port, and now I couldn't access the Banshee in it's PCI slot!

From guru3d.com:

"Voodoo Banshee PCI can function with other Voodoo Banshee PCI boards. Voodoo Banshee PCI cannot function when a Voodoo Banshee AGP is also on the system. This is a software issue that will be addressed in a future update to the Voodoo Banshee drivers."

From Creative:

" We cannot however guarantee that the 3D Blaster Banshee will work with all other 2D cards and their associated drivers. 3D Blaster Banshee PCI can function with other 3D Blaster Banshee PCI boards. However, it cannot function with a 3D Blaster Banshee AGP version. This is a software issue that will be addressed in a future driver update. Please check our regular driver updates at Creative - Drivers ."
Finally I found this at Creative:

"When you have more than one Banshee board installed in your system, only the primary board will be enabled. This problem will be resolved in the future driver release."

mmm.... I guess they never got round to writing that future driver release.
