The old 'PCI bus' trick ....
I found this tip on the newsgroups. When trying to set up my NVIDIA GeForce2 MX.
The gist of it is this. Even though you may:
- have your card plugged into the AGP slot
- have AGP selected in the BIOS
- ... the card may still not use the AGP bus.
You also need to have a motherboard driver installed which activates the AGP port.
The newsgroup poster - Will - had this problem in Windows 2000. I'm running Win 98SE and to my surprise I found the same situation.
