Can I learn to fly in a flight sim?

B-24 Mitchell

B-24 Mitchell in action. Over 18,000 of this type were built during World War 2 - only 1 remains flying today.

Lt. Charles H. Cook flew a B-24D named "Cookie" with the 90th Bombardment Group in the southwest Pacific in 1942-1943. At that time, Allied forces were greatly outnumbered, and Japanese invasion of New Guinea and Australia was a very real threat (the 90th BG became known as the "Jolly Rogers" later in the war).

Charlie is now 80 years of age, and over the next couple of months we will be presenting material based on a 3 hour interview with him, plus reams of photographs and newspaper clippings we have unearthed relating to his flying career. - Charles H. Cook

The elusive MiG-28 was "shot" by Chino at the Greater New England Air Show.

You ain't nothin' but a Hound Dog!

... rockin' all the time....
