In 1995 when this sim was published, not much was known in the West about the new Soviet
Attack chopper except that it had no tail rotor - TWO counterrotating main rotors and was a single
seater. This sim from
combined this exotic beast with a dynamic campaign system that had proved it's mettle in
SVGA Harrier Assault (1992).
I added a whole slew of screenshots for this classic sim. I first played it on my Atari ST and boy oh boy was it sophisticated!! The sounds were scary and the cockpits daunting. Flying over green billiard table terrain has never been so thrilling since. Why is that?
I sorted and improved the links to sites dealing with classic games and old computer systems :
Retro Gaming websites- sites which document the history of Computer Gaming. Check out Oldskool.org for advice on running DOS sims.
