KA-50 Hokum

In 1995 when this sim was published, not much was known in the West about the new Soviet Attack chopper except that it had no tail rotor - TWO counterrotating main rotors and was a single seater. This sim from Simis combined this exotic beast with a dynamic campaign system that had proved it's mettle in SVGA Harrier Assault (1992).

I added a whole slew of screenshots for this classic sim. I first played it on my Atari ST and boy oh boy was it sophisticated!! The sounds were scary and the cockpits daunting. Flying over green billiard table terrain has never been so thrilling since. Why is that?
