Miles McCorsion's Guide to F-117A Stealth Fighter

Miles McCorsion's Guide to F-117A Stealth Fighter.
F-117A Stealth Fighter by Microprose is often referred to as the 'mother of all sims' because it got so many design elements right. Doc Carlsen provided the definition of EMV and that prompted me to tidy up the exhibit and Mile's McCorsion's neat guide to this sim of all sims! A aggressive magazine advert for F-19 by Microprose.

F-19 Stealth Fighter
Back in the 1980's flight sims were marketed aggressively! Check out the advertising copy for the magazine advert for F-19 by Microprose.

" Imagine Falcon - Imagine a few hundred square miles of fantasy.

Imagine F-29. Imagine a few thousand miles of fantasy.

Fly F-19.
Fly over 409,600 square miles of reality.

Fly fast.

Fly the real thing.

Over 3,300 missions possible.

Graphical detail and depth of gameplay are claims made by others. Here they are reality.

Fly F-19 soon on your Atari ST and Commodore Amiga."

Note : F-19 Stealth Fighter was the first version of F-117A Stealth Fighter. The smoothly profiled aircraft you can see on the box was based on aerospace industry observer's best guesses about what the mysterious 'Stealth Fighter' actually looked like.

Take total control of EF2000

Flying Muffin's Strategic Command for EF2000
Rico Jansen steered me towards Flying Muffin's Strategic Command for EF2000. "It is an add-on to Digital Image Designís EF2000 version 2. It allows you to take total control of all the strategic and tactical aspects of an EF2000 campaign, plus it allows you to create and save Simulator files. The release fully supports the DOS-based, non-accelerated, EF2000 Version 2 (English ) or EF2000 with the Tactcom add-on only."
