A bit of investigating by PC revealed the "Aircraft Carrier" reported on October 24th to be a concept ship designed for amphibious transport and supply. Known as the "Multi Role Auxiliary (MRA)", it exists at the moment only in computer generated images. As far as acting as an aircraft carrier for Australia's F/A-18's - well - try 6 helicopters and "accommodating aircraft up to the size of the Bell-Boeing V-22 Osprey tilt-rotor". So what was under discussion was not an aircraft carrier as such, but something similar to a Tarawa class vessel.
