First look at Flanker

Sukhoi Su-27 Flanker virtual cockpit Su27 2.0
Following on from last week's look at Su-27 Flanker, this week I dived into Su-27 Flanker 2.0, it's glorious successor. The user friendly and powerful mission editor and convincing feeling of flight make this sim a winner. I've spent the past few weeks creating simple training missions for it and especially the Su-27 Flanker 2.5 version - which I'll feature next week.

Crimean comparison

I thought it would be interesting to compare the rendering of the Crimean peninsula in Su-27 Flanker 2.0 with the version in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2002 - check it out - Crimean Peninsula.

Next week I get into Flanker 2.5 ..... and fly the MiG-29 !!! Smiling Smiling
