Evasive Software

Evasive Action by Software Toolworks covered 4 eras - 1917 - the Great War - 1942 - 2nd World War - Modern Era - The Air Dominance Era and 2064 - Space Combat !
Francisco J. Campos reported: "Software Toolworks had been known for a long time due to all kinds of games: board, simulation and adventure. They needed a flight sim in their catalog, and Particle Systems did for them. The game was called Evasive Action, a curious choice in 1994, when flight sims were on the rage. There were 4 arenas for the dogfights :
  • 1917 - the Great War
  • 1942 - during the 2nd World War
  • The Air Dominance Era
  • 2064 - Space Combat

Console Wars II

AeroFighters Assault by Paradigm Entertainment for the Nintendo 64 - 1997

" Strap yourself into the cockpit and squeeze off heat-seeking missiles in this grittily realistic jet-fighter shooter. "

Well, that's what the official blurb said anyway. AeroFighters Assault was developed by Paradigm Entertainment and published by Video System Co. Ltd. for the Nintendo in 1997. It was released in Japan as Sonic Wings Assault.



Pilot Wings 64 by Paradigm Entertainment for the Nintendo 64 - 1996

Pilot Wings 64 on the other hand had a less ambitious blurb :

" ... earn an aviator's license by mastering your piloting skills in each of three different vehicles ­ a graceful hang glider, an ultra-cool rocket belt, and a speedy gyrocopter.. .. . become a good enough pilot and experience the ultimate flight sensation... Birdman !!! . Strap on these magic wings and your reward is total freedom to explore the world of Pilot Wings 64! " - Pilot Wings 64
