Two of the best ever multiplayer sims were released in the early days of 3DFX - way back in 1998 - and in one package! With a long time between MiG sims I eagerly anticipated this - F-16 Multi Role Fighter and MiG-29 Fulcrum - (Novalogic - 1998) Bob Roberts on Back to Baghdad
Back to Baghdad was one of the first "high fidelity" military sims for the PC. The publishers, Military Simulations Inc. went on to specialise in military sims and released no more products for the home market. It was unique in that it supported a second monitor for the radar display! - Bob Roberts on Back to Baghdad F-15's in Spanish Aircraft and Scenery Designer!
The Spanish edition of this popular add-on featured F-15 Eagles on the cover! It's quite unusual for the MS sims to feature military jets.... probably the Spanish division just having some fun I'd say. Keith Ainsworth publishes RETROGAMER, a printed fanzine published in Liverpool, UK which is dedicated to classic video games. The zine's definition of classic is any old game (basically 8-bit and 1980's) that made you forget the time or ate all your money at the arcade.
