This problem first came to my attention when the Thrustmaster H.O.T.A.S. Cougar would periodically disconnect from the computer - usually as I worked the rudders during final approach Computer Pilot Magazine ran an article on this in a 2003 edition. Tidied up the Royal Air Force 2000 exhibit. 2nd September, 2006Added new videos to the Microsoft Combat Flight Sim 2 exhibit.
This video runs for a couple of minutes and shows a dogfight between the P-38F Lightning and a Mitsubishi A6M2 Zero Fighter over the mountainous terrain of Lae.

Ketsujin in the Developers and Publishers gallery. 24th August, 2006I couldn't get this classic 1998 sim running under Windows XP. Apparently it is possible, but not without making changes to the system beyond my comfort zone. This involved rolling back graphics drivers - possibly to a point that my current GeForce 6600 GT would not even be suported. Still, there are people playing and modding the sim as we speak, so check it out here -

The Sega R-360 has an amazing full 360 degrees of motion. With the motion toned down, added controls, and linked to any of the great software we all know and love, this would be an unbeatable sim experience in your basement / den / playroom.

Video of Just Flight products, 2001 This video is a good one to show friends who ask "What is Flight Simulation all about anyway?" It is produced with what seems to be Just Flight's trademark sense of humour.
