"I remember ACE had a quite unique copy protection device called LENS-LOCK. Working out how to use this with continual re-loading of the game after getting the security code wrong wasted nearly a whole evening and I remember feeling pretty down about that!"

"Jeez..what a blast from the past. I remember playing Ace 2 with a friend of mine..it was great! If I'm not mistaken we could play it split screen or sometimes we'd play co-op with me flying and him working the keyboard to aim the reticle."

This was one of the first sims with air to air refueling and I remember being in afterburner ate up fuel at an enormous rate. The tanks were little pyramids that shot dots at you as you tried to strafe them. Very arcadish but sooo much fun back then. Thanks for the memory!"
