Landing

If you managed to approach the runway, you drifted left and right off the axis. If you tried to stay in the center using the rudimentary ILS provided, you stalled and crashed. It was kind of like flying in zero visibility until a few final seconds before touchdown, when it was finally possible to confirm the speed and altitude visually. Unfortunately, by then it was usually too late for major corrections.
The runway was short, and any strong control input at that moment usually resulted in exceeding the allowed vertical speed and death. If this wasn’t enough, blind flying, wind/turbulence and “mathematical clouds” were available in the options panel.
