"In my opinion this is what made Flight simming really interesting - designing visually accurate (in a relative sense, or at least for the time) aircraft, that flew close to what the real planes did. And if they didn't, you tweaked it until it did. If this had not happened, I don't believe that the hobby would have gone to where it is today.

Also, in my opinion, the guidebook left too much out and there was an extended and difficult learning curve to make all of this work.. This is probably what caused all of the BBS' s in the flight sim community to flourish as they did. If we only had direct e-mail then as we do now!
