Installation

Installation is straight forward as you would expect from the same company that publishes the operating system! (Windows).

When you get to the Install location screen the default location is : C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator

HINT : Use the default location. Later on you will probably install enhancements to the software like new planes and scenery and things will fly much more smoothly if the default location is used.

During install you have the option to install the following scenery files to the hard drive or load them 'on the fly' from the CD as needed. It's hard to appreciate the importance of the decision in these days of 40 GIG Hard Drives !

Space required basic install 82 MEG
WIth all scenery 281 MEG
and install adventures 282 MEG
and adventure sound files 317 MEG
