Flight Sim Toolkit

Flight Sim Toolkit was a unique concept, putting creative power in the hands of the consumer for almost the first time in computer sims.

In 1991 the original version of Flight Sim Toolkit was released on the Archimedes A3000, then in 1993 it was released for the PC and in 1994 "Flight Sim Toolkit: World War II" was released.

Flight Sim Toolkit was a remarkable program developed by Simis and published by Domark.

There remains to this day a dedicated band of enthusiasts who have created their own aircraft and scenarios. PC Pilot Magazine had a collection of Ron Walker's creations on their Issue 12 cover CD.

The graphics engine was similar to their SVGA Harrier Assault, one of the first SVGA sims. You could even insert your own navaids!

It also provided customisable cockpits... you could create your own from scratch or use these beautifully rendered templates and insert your own dials and gauges!
