Heroes of the 357th
VGA 256 colour graphics are bright, and presentation is stunning: you see a sepia photo brought to life, and the Mustang squadron heading to Paris. There was no other plane than the Mustang, but you could arm it with a variety of items, depending on the mission ("Tour Of Duty"). You can tell you were in Paris since you see the Eiffel Tower from the cockpit. Heroes of the 357th had a good choice of external views, and a camera to see replays. But the game world was dull and without details: you knew you were flying over land if everything was green, over water if blue. MiGMan thanks Francisco J. Campos . |
