Su-27 Flanker 2.0
Hardware requirements

The recommended specifications on installation were:

Minimum: P200, 32 MB RAM, 4 MB 3D card
Recommended: P2 300, 64 MB RAM, 16 MB 3D card
Smokin": P3 600, 128 MB RAM, 32 MB 3D card.

Well I got hold of the sim in Denmark in July 2001. In the 18 months since Flanker 2.0's release machine specs had gone way up. 1.2 MHz CPU's were now common and the price of RAM had plummeted, with 128 MB selling for about AUD $100.00 (USD $50.00).

My machine at the time was a Celeron-466 - which fell somewhere between the recommended and "smokin'" requirements. I was really pleased to find that the sim ran smooth as silk with most graphics sliders except view distance set at maximum.

The only stuttering occured in extremely built up areas like Sevastopol. This could be largely alleviated by zooming the view in - towards the HUD - so that a lesser number of objects were visible.
