Thrust Vectoring
These images from the
ACMI
tool show some of the incredible manoeuvers possible in the
sim using thrust vectoring on the F-22
A
forward flip
-
enduring enormous negative G and
ending up inverted and flying in the opposite direction.
This would be an extremely uncomfortable manoeuver to fly.
An impressively small radius somersault

Rob flew the F-22 at 90 degrees Angle of Attack ... for quite some
time - and then exited nose down.
This is what the Soviets called the "Cobra Manoeuver" and
allegedly it can break certain radar locks.
