US Navy Fighters
Tips

  • The default flying speed seems to be about 1/2 that of many other sims, which is not a bad thing when you're getting familiar with carrier ops.
  • You can even slow the action further by pressing "Ctrl - C "
  • I recommend setting the speed to x2 by pressing "C".
  • Probably the weakest aspect of the sim was the plane's handling characteristics around the airport, they always felt jerky on takeoff and tended to "float" forever on landing... especially the F22... you practically had to nosedive the runway to get that mother down!

Fighters Anthology brought the DOS sims US Navy Fighters, Marine Fighters, Advanced Tactical Fighters, NATO Fighters and the Windows sim USNF '97 into one collection under Windows.

MiGMan's Fighters Anthology guide has over 200 pages describing US Navy Fighters, Marine Fighters, Advanced Tactical Fighters and NATO Fighters.
