USNF '97 Phantom vs MiG The missile missed and a series of vertical scissors ensued until............ ... my wingman shot him down... So it's Back to the ship we go, mission accomplished, ah well if only life were like a sim! On the other side of the ideological fence you can fly MiGMan's favourite, the MiG-21 Fishbed. After a spectacularly unsuccessful (read fatal) intercept mission against 3 F-4's, MiGMan thought he'd best try again, this time heeding the advice given in the briefing to use classic GCI tactics of the period.		Accordingly this time we remained low and radar silent until our flight was in firing position, about 1 1/2 miles behind and below the Yankee dogs! Going supersonic we unleashed a volley of missiles, hit the treetops and got out of there!
