Damage Modelling

The first thing which came to my attention in WW2 Fighters was the extraordinary attention to detail in the damage modelling . (See the picture at right for an example of damage!) Most parts of the aircraft seem vulnerable... I seemed to break everything at least once!

Unfortunately the enemy pilots didn't share my interest in art so I was forced to pause the game now and then to look around. Views are well implemented, enabling you to browse air and ground objects at your leisure. What I can't convey here are the sound effects , engine rpm, tracers whizzing by, ricochets, flaps and wings creaking and straining in a tight turn.
