All these images were taken near Kansai Airport - where the rail / road bridge connects to the mainland. This helipad, on top of a 900 feet building, looked mighty small. In fact the pad didn't support landing at all. I had diffculty getting the chopper to land - I once succeeded in floating - it can deploy inflatable floats - and it was quite eery to float on the swell.

You need a steady frame rate of 12 fps plus or the yawing never settles down, so I had to stay away from the main airport, but the secondary areas and countryside flying was a delight.

Cockpit Features

FEATURE   COMMENTS
2D cockpit Full panel Multiple panels including a limited function overhead. An interesting radio panel.
Virtual cockpit   An excellent vcp with the main gauges working and readable.

From the readme.txt :

" This helicopter was designed with FSDS 1.6 for FS2002. It has animated rotor blades, gear, landing lights, Search light, floats, transparent windows, a highly realistic Panel and realistic sounds. "

The aircraft, a 9 MEG download, is self installing.
