Downloads

The open architecture of the Microsoft flight sims inspired a thriving community of fans who share their work on-line. Check out Links to see the main websites which host these files. Then get busy downloading! Most of the downloads are small - being 1 to 5 MEG in size, but the sky is the limit, so to speak.

Magazines such as PC Pilot Magazine provide selected files on their cover disk, which is particularly beneficial to readers whose telephone service charges by the minute, for example in the United Kingdom.

The Museum can only hope to glance at what are literally thousands of files here so if your appetite is whetted then get to the links page and start browsing. Perhaps you'll end up, like many other flight fans creating enhancements which bring your local area more accurately into the world of Microsoft Flight Simulator 2002.
