Hardware requirements
- MS Windows compatible PC with 300 MHz or faster (we recommend at least 600 MHz)
- 3D graphics card with at least 16 MB graphics memory and good OpenGL support (we recommend nVidia GeForce chipsets)
- display with at least 800 x 600 pixel and 256 colors or better
- 64 MB RAM (we recommend 128 MB)
- 400 MB free hard disk space
- CD ROM drive
- Microsoft Windows 95, 98, Me or 2000
- Microsoft DirectX 5 or higher
- joystick recommended
The simulator renders the 3D graphics either by OpenGL or Software, selectable in the menu. The OpenGL version requires a graphics card with good OpenGL support. For the Software version we recommend a PC with at least 700 MHz CPU speed. Direct3D support will be available in an update. This update will be downloadable from SFS website very soon.
