Installation Installation was painless. The full install requires a whopping 5.7 GIGABYTES, which must be a new record for an add-on, or even a full flight sim. By comparison Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 only takes up around 3 gigabytes. Most of the 151,413 files installed are textures, and there is just no shortcut when you are recreating the exact image of the ground textures, as opposed to using the generic repeating textures that Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 normally uses (quite well) to simulate the earth's surface. |
