Three Radar modes are available :
- traditional forward looking
- top-down 'ATC-style'
- vertical height view.
The range can also be adjusted using the RNG buttons on the MFD edge. The great advantage of this radar over its predecessors is that AI aircraft can not only be selected by clicking them, the radar also displays the selected targets heading, vertical speed, altitude, airspeed and current course. This great tool allows real intercepts to be made, commonplace in combat sims but a first for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004
