Landing

Airbases -

Your main airfield is K-50 Sokcho-ri , slot 81 on your ADF.
It's on a 938 ft high plateau on the East coast of Korea, with a runway heading 044 for take-off over the sea. Reciprocal for an easy landing is 244, but if you prefer you can land the fun way by descending steeply from the Western mountains, heading 044.

In some Mission briefings you will be notified of a divert airfield, which is usually K-50 Yanggu slot 80. Tune in your ADF to slot 80 and fly the needle to Yanggu. The runway is at 1391 ft and landable from either end: 126/306

Later in the campaign you transfer to K-14 Kimpo ADF:93, where you will hopefully remember being stationed when you previously flew the F-84 Thunderjet. ( in Thunderjets Over Korea ) . Kimpo is at 62 ft and landable from either end: 323/143.

On reaching the final waypoint "Contact Tower" , call up your ADF panel	Shift-6
Switch ADF on	mouse click to the switch
click down to slot 81
	Fly the needle to the airfield.

Speedbrakes	Extend
Gear Down	Below 185 knots
Flaps Down
Speed	125 - 160 knots
Final Approach	105 - 115 knots
When sure of landing, close throttle
Wheel brakes for 2 - 3 secs at 1 sec intervals
