Buck Danny No.49

Chino reported:

If you read French and enjoy military aviation, you would really like the Buck Danny series. It was created in the late 1940's when Buck started out flying Wildcats and other Navy fighters against the Japanese in WW2. Although Buck is an American pilot (he has flown both USN and USAF aircraft over the years), Buck Danny is a totally French creation, and 49 books later, he's still flying (and hasn't aged a day!).

Although the plots are often far-fetched (in the techno-thriller sense), the aircraft details, combat action, and art work are very well done. Buck Danny No.49

Buck Danny comics are available on-line from www.amazon.fr (French site for amazon.com) or from this source in North America (Quebec) - both sites are naturally in French, and I have not ordered from them, so I don't know how they handle international orders.
