OK, that's not really a Spelling spell, I just made it up. And to be fair, it works, how can it not.

I only watched Season 2, and who knows, seasons 3, 4, 5, 6 et al might be different in tone. We saw more risk taking as the Buffy series developed, but without watching more Charmed I don't know. Anyway I'm sure the show hit exactly the spot that the after all, very experienced, team at Spelling meant to hit.

Think Buffy-lite and you have it.
