I've used this wonderful program since the beginning. Main advantages:
  • FAST - It loads much more quickly than Photoshop, Corel etc
  • INEXPENSIVE - costs a fraction of their price
  • STABLE
  • Easy to use
  • Popular - widely supported on the web
  • Animation - it includes Animation Shop - a separate program that I use for the animations you see on this site
I'm still using version 5. Version 7 includes a host of features oriented to web design such as vector graphics and java.
