My first time!

" My first (and only) simulator was Microsoft Flight Simulator, starting in 1989 with version 3.0, which I mostly used to check the IBM-compatiblity of clone PC's. Only after FS 4.0 came along (with EGA 16 color) the interest in the flightsim aspects started. "

My Favourites

" All time favorites: Dungeon games since around 1973 on the PDP-11, later: Myst. Flight Simulator and lately Bridge programs. And just for fun:  Grachtenrace , which plays in the Amsterdam (my place of birth) canals and Amstel river. I am not much of a gamer. Too serious, I guess . Smiling

I also dabbled for quite some years (also since around 1989) in the Jack Nicklaus society, that was involved in designing golfcourses for the JN later GBC (Golden Bear Challenge) series of golf games. I was interested mainly because of the course-editor. The other reason was the worldwide JN-society (starting on the BBS's, like with FS), that was smaller, but had the same kind of friendly atmosphere as the FS-society. "
