I took these pictures at Akrotiri, Crete in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2002.

This aircraft had my favourite of all cockpits in this collection.

Pilot's notes

Rebuilt with the larger engine the F-104S has served the Italian airforce well.

This example from 10 Gruppo Caccia Intercettori based at Grazzanise, displays the standard IAF camoflauge markings that were carried later in ther lives. S models feature upgraded engines and avionics making them truly all weather fighters and the last production models.
