Thomas "AV8R" Spann reports that he keeps EF2 on his laptop and runs great on a NT4 OS. Thomas writes:

EF2 was the sim I learned on after Falcon3.0, and it had a padlocking system that almost everyone loved. Its only down side was it was too good.
But I cannot think of a sim that was and is better to teach a new sim pilot about dogfighting and situational awareness. I would say that EF2K is THE training sim of all time. It focused on immersion and SA, and had enough complexity to keep everyone interested for years.
