It was a typical Sydney Spring morning - blue skies and fresh - not too warm - as I made my way to the Westin Hotel in Sydney's central business district to meet Scott Lee from Microsoft.

The Intro movie

First we watched the Intro cinematics.


Scott demonstrating how to insert the CD-ROM...

The movie is based on in-game graphics which were then enhanced with CGI and a rousing soundtrack. You see a P-40 pilot on his way to a tank- busting mission.

His mate gets whacked by a Messerschmidt. He exacts swift revenge then proceeds to take out the bridge. The last shot is of a German experimental fighter of "flying wing" design departing the area at great speed..

Scott Lee: So that gives you a little flavour of the sim. (Laughter).
