Deadliest Warrior about: A comparison of classic warriors and fighting styles achieved with the aid of weapons experts and weaponeers, professional martial artists and trainers, biomechanical engineers and statistical modelling. In my opinion though, the simulation vastly underestimates the variables of tactics in these encounters. For example, a Samurai is trained for precision and would tend to avoid a head on clash of forces where possible. tags: PressVideo
about: The opening scenes to this 1990 flight sim from Activision are an accurate time capsule! The PC hardware of the day was only capable of displaying a limited number of polygons and colours, and the sound made good use of the latest sound card technology. Note that in the game you could also fly in cockpit view. software: F-14 Tomcat tags: CombatVideo
Frame rate test HD capture with Xbox game capture about: For some ?? reason the capture file was only twice the size of my usual stuttery captures, at 630mb instead of ~ 300mb. That's fine, I can live with that. But - HD and no stuttering. So the workflow changes again... I'll do the preflight - map - drone footage in OBS, do the inflight with the Xbox game capture, and splice them together post flight in Windows 'Photos' app. airport: Kuala Lumpur International country: Malaysialocale: Kuala Lumpur tags: VideoFlight RecorderEditorGraphics published: 2021 updated: 2021-04-30
Bell 206B JetRanger about: One of MiGMan's wobbly test flights!
In the default Bell 205B helicopter, taking a sedate flight over the strip in Vegas. Landmark areas of scenery such as this received particular attention by the developers and they pushed the software and hardware of the day to the limits to achieve this amount of detail. Compare this to the same flight in FS2002.
