Visitor's BookJanuary 26th, 2000Subject: Re: Mission: High Wire. Well I have gotten my hands on the Novalogic Sim and first I must say......WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Best Sim yet, and although I am former crew chief on the F-16C/D aircraft for the USAF, and that it is still my favorite bird and I play Falcon 4.0 quite often, I do have to say that the terrain graphics on the Fulcrum are dynamite. Anyway, praise aside, my troubles are lying within the execution of Mission: High Wire in the second campaign. I have tried all missile avoidance tricks I know, and I still get nailed after only splashing at most, two of the Mirage fighters. The strategy I am using is, take out the Mirage fighters, then hit the choppers. Since I am new to this game, and no one else I know flies PC Sims, you seem to be the only authority I know of to turn to for some advice. Help!!! I'm getting smoked every time. Ken Here are a couple more missile avoidance checklists. MiGMan "Thank you, I took your advice and have played some online fellas. There are a few good ones, however most of them tend to hang around the airfield like buzzards and pick you off as you get airborne, not very sporting. But I have learned a trick that helps with the short range R-60MK's and that is (if it is daylight) to aim for the sun and use the sun glare to spoof the infrared seeker, and for good measure I drop flare like a mad-dog. Thank's for the tips, I sure needed them." Ken Back to the Visitor's Book |
