As part of the grand overhaul of the MiGBase in late 2020, I replaced a mess of external hard drives and their associated power supplies and USB cables:

With this neat and economical device:

It supports RAID, although I am running it as a JBOD.

Actually I bought two which now house my 5 x 2TB drives and 3 new 8TB drives = 34tb.

Over time I'll just open the front and swap out the 2TB HDD for an eventual total of 64TB.

Now, to begin caching MSFS 2020 scenery data... ...
