Although the text and photos are great, it’s the "diagrammatic paintings" that are the heart of this book.

They clearly illustrate many of the great battles and aircraft match-ups from WW1 to the Gulf War (showing the set-up and maneuvers in an easily understood format). Very educational and nicely written as well.
