Westland Sikorsky Joystick
Mark Schimmer is building his own cockpit and got hold of a genuine helicopter control stick:

Note the two-way trigger ! You can tip it at the top or at the bottom. It probably was used to talk either via radio or to the crew via intercom. "

The switch on top (unknown function, prob. ordnance) and on the right top (hoist cable cutter) are protected by safety covers. The hat switch is a four way switch and was used for trimming.

The Saitek X-36 isn't exactly small, but looks wimpy compare to the enormous size of the Wessex stick!
