I'm looking forward to being able to map the left and right axes to mixture and prop pitch on the occasion I fly prop aircraft. It does happen! Expecially in WWII sims.

I have a similar wheel on my TM Warthog which is super handy for trim control. I find it much preferable to using the hat on the joystick. Because of the mechanical advantage in such a large wheel you get super-fine control, and it's right next to the throttle.
