Griffith and the Post War Boom
Description
Post World War II, Australia took in immigrants from 30 European countries, the top three numerically being from Britain, Italy and Greece. Many from the latter two settled in the Riverina region and help spur the development of 'the food bowl of Australia', and their cultural heritage can be seen in much of the local architecture.
