Pearl Harbor is an arcade game following the main Pacific battles in World War II (1941-1945).
The game is based on real events, landscapes, airplane models, ships, military bases, as well as real time rendering and simulation. The player will take part in the most significant events of the Pacific War by receiving various missions according to his rank.
The military forces of USA and Japan clash in this game. The user is always a US serviceman.
Historical accuracy: The battles, their dates, places and approximate military forces are all based on real events. However, battle damage, winning and losing are all variables and will depend on the flow of the game.
The main player's goal is to fulfill his duty in battle and accomplish all mission objectives in order to climb higher in rank and claim the rewards. The best pilots will be placed in the games high score list and can be uploaded to the official web site.
The game is based on the military career of a US serviceman, who takes part in a Pacific Air campaign. Commencing in the Pearl Harbor battle as a second level serviceman in lower rankings, the objective is to fulfill all upcoming missions. Points are awarded according to how the mission was accomplished, the number of enemy objects destroyed, own objects defended and the complexity of the mission itself. Higher ranks will be awarded according to the amount of points achieved.
