Pitts S-1S "Racer X"

" "Racer X," race number 7X, is a Pitts Special S-1S constructed in 1995. It sports a bright, beautiful paint scheme of red and white, and has been a consistent performer at Reno since 2006. This includes an average speed of 200.765 miles per hour in 2012, and a third place finish in the Gold race with an average speed of 204.906 miles per hour in 2016. In total to date, Racer X has competed at Reno eleven times, including qualifying for the 2021 Biplane Gold race."
