Sabre vs. MiG System Requirements

2002 | On my Celeron 466 Mk II with a Hercules 3D Prophet III Titanium 500 graphics adaptor the planes flew smoothly and with an acceptable frame rate. This was a pleasant surprise as some of the complex models I've tried in recent products absolutely slay the frame rate! ANyway I don't know how he did it but Roger Dial has given us good looking and detailed planes that actually fly! In the missions the frame rate plummeted as the 466 CPU struggled to digest the objects - flying and otherwise. So I sent the campaign up the road for PC to thrash it out on his new rig.

I'd say you need a 1 GHz + processor to enjoy smooth frame rates in the campaign missions.
