❝By far the most valuable part of the documentation was the large poster which shows you where all the switches are on which panels. From what I remember the manual isn't a lot of help. It mainly deals with details of the systems and not how to operate them.
Try setting the game to the easiest mode and letting the game show you where the switches are that it wants you to select. It highlights them in red and moves the display for you.
There are quite a few keys you need to know though I think, but most of the options are available from the pull down menus.
